The Prayer of St Isaiah of Scetis (at the time of temptation)

O my Lord Jesus Christ make haste to help me and do not let me sin against You
for I am lost. Do not let me follow my will nor allow me to fall in my sins. Have
compassion on Your creation. Do not despise me for I am weak. Do not give me up
for I have taken refuge in You. Heal my soul for I have sinned against You. All my
oponents aree before me and I have no other refuge but You my Lord. Therefore,
save me for Your mercy's sake. Let those who rise against me to destroy me be
ashamed and confounded for You are mighty and able to do all things and through
Your is the glory to God the Father and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen.
